About the School of Business

The School of Business is one of four Schools of the University of New South Wales located at the ADFA campus in Canberra. Originally established as the School of Economics and Management in January 1986, it was renamed as the School of Business in 2005.

Undergraduate, postgraduate and research students work in a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment to gain an understanding of the forces shaping modern economies, how to handle and work with them as managers, and how to lead the way for change.

Teaching Program

The Bachelor of Business (BBus) degree is the mainstay of the undergraduate program and also contributes major sequences of study in economics and management to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs.

The School offers a flexible approach to postgraduate coursework study with Master of Business, Master of Logistics Management, Master of Strategic People Management and Master of Sustainment Management courses provided in distance and intensive modes.

The accredited Master of Project Management program is jointly delivered by the School of Business and the School of Engineering & Information Technology.
